Patrick Twisdale

Patrick Twisdale is the founder of Twisdale Law, PC, and an attorney focused on intellectual property and business law. He provides strategic legal solutions to businesses, inventors, and entrepreneurs, helping clients protect their innovations while navigating complex legal matters with clarity and confidence.

Patrick earned his Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law. He also completed multiple degrees at East Carolina University, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Biology, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Chemistry and Philosophy, all magna cum laude.

Patrick focuses his practice on patents, trademarks, copyrights, and corporate law. He assists clients with patent prosecution, trademark registration, and intellectual property strategy, and handles business matters such as contracts, formation, and disputes across a range of industries.

Patrick is authorized to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is licensed in multiple states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. His broad admissions allow him to serve clients across the United States with a focus on key regional markets.

Patrick has experience working with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the Office of Research Commercialization at NC State University. These roles helped him build a strong understanding of intellectual property law and the process of securing and protecting valuable innovations.
