About
Parker Leland is an attorney at Cain Law who represents injured Oklahomans in personal injury matters. He began learning about injury cases through an internship with the practice and became an attorney after passing the bar examination in 2022. His work centers on the legal needs of people injured by others, drawing on early experience in courts and prosecutor offices. He approaches injury claims with a foundation in legal research and court procedure.
Parker earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Iowa Wesleyan University. He played college baseball for four years, earned academic All-American recognition three times, and made the Dean’s List each year. He later earned a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2022. His criminal justice and legal studies provided a foundation for his courtroom externship, prosecutor-office internship, and later work on personal injury claims in Oklahoma.
While in law school, Parker completed a summer internship with the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Golden, Colorado, in 2020. He later secured an externship with Judge Hammond in the District Court of Oklahoma County. These opportunities exposed him to hearings and courtroom work, including proceedings involving prosecutors and criminal defense lawyers. His later internship in personal injury practice introduced him to the legal work involved in representing injured clients.
Parker Leland began practicing as an attorney in 2022 after moving from an internship into a licensed legal role. His experience includes both judicial and prosecution-side learning environments, followed by injury law work in Oklahoma. These different settings helped him observe how court processes, factual records, and legal arguments shape a case. He continues to focus on helping injured people understand and pursue their claims through the available legal procedures.
