Pablo A. Fernandez is a Partner at Horn Wright, LLP. He has a diverse legal background that includes criminal defense, immigration, construction litigation, and municipal law. His experience allows him to approach each case with a broad understanding of legal issues and practical solutions.
Pablo earned his Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law in 2001. He also holds a B.S. from St. John’s University, completed in 1997. His education provided a strong legal foundation that supports his varied legal practice.
Pablo previously served as a Deputy County Attorney with the Office of the Nassau County Attorney. In that role, He was Deputy Bureau Chief in the Litigation Bureau, defending Nassau County in civil matters, including Section 1983 actions and other claims brought against the county.
Pablo also represented the Nassau County Department of Social Services. His work included handling legal matters involving public agencies, giving him experience in government-related litigation and administrative processes, which continues to inform his approach to complex legal disputes.
In addition to his legal work, Pablo served as an adjunct law professor at the Maurice A. Dean School of Law. He taught Legal Interviewing, Counseling, and Negotiation, helping students develop practical legal skills and a strong understanding of client communication and case strategy.
Pablo A. Fernandez is admitted to practice in New York and is a member of the Federal Bar Association and Nassau County Bar Association. He is also fluent in Spanish and remains active in his community, including service as a volunteer firefighter.
