Omar Ochoa, founding attorney of the Omar Ochoa Law Firm, has been nationally recognized as one of the top young trial lawyers in the United States. He earned degrees in business administration, accounting, and economics from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating from the prestigious Business Honors Program. He later received his law degree with high honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as the first Latino editor in chief of the Texas Law Review and became a member of the Order of the Coif.

Before founding his firm, Omar clerked for Judge Amul Thapar and Judge Raymond Kethledge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and worked as a trial attorney at Susman Godfrey L.L.P., one of the nation’s top litigation firms. His outstanding advocacy earned him the Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement by a Young Lawyer Award from the American Antitrust Institute for his role in a record-breaking auto parts antitrust case.
