She also managed multidisciplinary programs for the County of San Diego and held leadership roles at the Center for Community Solutions.

Her experience includes serving domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, acting as lead counsel in legal and advocacy services, and working internationally with Burundian and Congolese refugees in Tanzanian refugee camps.
