Nathaniel Lee

Nathaniel Lee is the senior partner at Lee Cossell & Feagley, LLP in Indianapolis, Indiana. His litigation practice focuses on major personal injury and wrongful death claims, medical negligence, defective products, and police misconduct. He also oversees the firm’s operations. He represents individuals in serious disputes that may require extensive investigation, expert evidence, and courtroom advocacy to determine responsibility and pursue legal remedies.

Nathaniel earned a J.D. from the University of Georgia in Athens in 1982. He previously received a B.A. in 1977 and a Master’s degree in 1978 from Morehead State University in Kentucky. Following admission to the bar, he built his legal career in the Indianapolis area. His education and decades of litigation practice inform his assessment of complex evidence and courtroom strategy.

Nathaniel has litigated more than 150 jury trials and handles cases involving significant injuries, deaths, medical negligence, defective products, and civil rights concerns arising from police conduct. His litigation background spans multiple substantive areas represented by the firm. He has also participated in professional legal education and advocacy organizations, including leadership roles associated with the National Bar Association and regional legal groups.

Nathaniel Lee has served multiple terms as chairman of the Marion County Bar Association and held leadership positions with the National Bar Association. His professional recognitions include the National Bar Association President’s Award and the Indiana Lawyer Distinguished Barrister Award.
