About
Nathan H. Elmore is a Mississippi attorney and partner who represents clients in immigration, criminal defense, injury, workers’ compensation, and family law matters. He assists immigrants from Mexico, Guatemala, Latin America, Punjab, and Haryana, and handles removal defense in immigration courts. His practice also includes federal and state felony cases, misdemeanors, DUI defense, divorce, custody, guardianship, workplace injuries, and personal injury claims for clients across Mississippi courts, agencies, and tribunals.

That training supports his ability to evaluate evidence, address immigration and criminal issues, prepare appeals, and guide clients through serious disputes with organized judgment in trial courts, appellate courts, agency proceedings, and hearings under pressure.
Elmore began his career with the Hinds County Public Defender’s Office and established his practice in 1998. He represents clients in federal and state criminal matters, including cases that have resulted in acquittals on charges ranging from DUI to murder. His immigration work includes removal matters in courts across the country, and cases won at trial and appellate levels. He helps clients pursue recoveries in workplace injury claims as well.
Nathan H. Elmore is admitted in Mississippi and before the Supreme Court of the United States, with practice in federal district courts in Mississippi. He has argued before the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and appeared before the Mississippi appellate courts. Since 2011, he has served as a consulting attorney to the Mexican Consulate in New Orleans, supporting clients who need experienced advocacy through difficult immigration, criminal, injury, and family law matters.
