About

Natalie D. Potter brings more than 15 years of legal experience in empowering clients across intellectual property, employment, business, and commercial leasing law. She advises individuals and companies on trademark and copyright protection, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, and digital business matters. Her client-focused approach builds lasting relationships rooted in trust and results.

Natalie earned her B.A. in Environmental Studies with a Business Management minor from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1999. She went on to receive her J.D. from American University Washington School of Law in 2003. Her legal education and early career experience have shaped her into a well-rounded advocate for her clients.

Before entering private practice, Natalie gained valuable experience working for a North Carolina State Court and clerking for the U.S. Department of Justice. She later worked with a major U.S. Government contractor, giving her insight into complex legal systems and diverse client needs. These roles laid the foundation for her adaptable, client-first legal strategy.

Natalie’s practice includes trademark and copyright registration, infringement claims, intellectual property agreements, and DMCA matters. She also advises on commercial lease contracts—whether initiating, amending, or terminating agreements—and represents businesses in internet retail, e-commerce, and workplace compliance.

Clients value Natalie D. Potter for her sharp legal mind, quick responsiveness, and sincere commitment to their goals. Whether helping businesses reduce risk or defending their creative rights, she provides practical solutions and clear direction. Her ability to translate legal issues into actionable steps makes her a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and professionals alike.

Natalie’s track record reflects her dedication to helping clients grow stronger and more protected. She takes pride in guiding others with the same determination and diligence that marked her own journey—from being the first in her family to graduate college to becoming a respected voice in her field.
