Mr. Gill earned his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. There, he double majored in Law & Society and Religious Studies and received Dean’s Honors. He went on to earn his J.D. from California Western School of Law, where he was awarded a Dean’s Scholarship. He passed the California Bar Exam on his first attempt, demonstrating strong academic preparation and legal skill after graduating.

Mr. Gill has helped people facing a wide range of legal challenges throughout his career. Early in his career, he served as a State Certified Legal Intern with the San Diego District Attorney’s Office and later worked as an associate attorney at a respected Ventura County law firm. As Managing Attorney at the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County, he assisted individuals who needed legal help but lacked the resources to pay for it. Since 2001, he has owned and operated the Law Offices of Monty S Gill, securing dismissals in criminal cases, favorable Social Security decisions, and substantial settlements for injured clients.

Monty Gill is admitted to practice in all California courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He is active in professional organizations, including the Ventura County Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.
