Monty A. McIntyre

Monty A. McIntyre, Esq., is a seasoned civil trial attorney who handles select, high-stakes cases involving business disputes, insurance bad faith, personal injury, real property, and wrongful death. Licensed in California since 1980, he represents both plaintiffs and defendants and is known for preparing every case as if it will be tried before a jury. This trial-first approach strengthens negotiation positions and delivers credible results when litigation becomes necessary.

Monty earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and holds a B.A. from the University of California. His legal education laid the groundwork for a career focused on courtroom advocacy, evidence presentation, and jury persuasion. Over decades of practice, he has refined these skills through continuous trial work, professional leadership, and active engagement with the broader legal community across California and nationally.

Throughout his career, Monty has tried more than 100 cases to conclusion, including 33 civil jury trials, and has secured over $50 million in verdicts and settlements for plaintiffs, along with numerous defense verdicts and favorable resolutions.
