A Northwestern University graduate, Mitchell earned his law degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. After leaving the prosecutor’s office, Mitchell opened his law firm in Chicago’s northwest suburbs, later expanding to the city of Chicago to better serve clients across Northern Illinois.
