Mitchel M. Gordon

Mitchel M. Gordon is the founder of the Law Office of Mitchel M. Gordon in Baltimore, Maryland. He represents clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury matters, including job injury claims, auto accident cases, disability-related claims, and injury matters involving people from many professions. Mr. Gordon helps injured workers and accident victims understand their rights, protect their claims, and pursue available benefits or compensation after serious workplace and negligence-related injuries.

Mr. Gordon graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1988 and was a member of the Heuisler Honor Society. He attended law school while working as a police officer with the Baltimore City Police Department. This background gave him a practical understanding of public service work, workplace risk, and the challenges faced by injured employees. His legal education and early career experience continue to support his work in workers’ compensation and injury representation.

Mr. Gordon worked for the Baltimore City Police Department for 12 years before entering the practice of law. After joining the bar, he practiced primarily in criminal defense with a local law firm for several years. Many former police colleagues later sought his help with workers’ compensation and auto accident matters, leading him to establish his own firm in 1992. Since then, the firm has handled thousands of workers’ compensation and automobile accident cases for clients throughout Maryland.

Mitchel M. Gordon is a fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation and is a past chairman of the Negligence Insurance and Workers’ Compensation Section of the Maryland State Bar Association. He also serves on the board of directors for Kids’ Chance of Maryland. Through his long career, Mr. Gordon has built a practice focused on injured workers, public safety employees, accident victims, and clients who need practical guidance during difficult recovery and claims processes.
