Misti Allen Binsfeld

Misti Allen Binsfeld is the founder and managing attorney of Binsfeld Law Firm, PLLC, and practices immigration law, representing businesses, employees, students, families, and individuals seeking safety or lawful status in the United States. With more than 25 years of immigration law experience, she provides detailed case evaluations, individualized legal strategies, and representation tailored to each client’s circumstances. Her practice serves clients throughout Minnesota and nationwide, including companies, foreign national employees, students entering the workforce, families, and citizenship applicants across diverse immigration matters.

Misti earned her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, now Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and her B.A. in Political Science from Augsburg College. She was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in 1996. Her legal education and longstanding immigration practice support her work with employers, workers, students, families, and individuals navigating complex US immigration requirements, procedural obligations, and long-term plans for employment, family unity, safety, and citizenship matters.

She has also coordinated continuing legal education programs for lawyers and students, supported The Advocates for Human Rights, and mentored newer attorneys and law students in Minnesota.
