Michelle Edens is an associate attorney concentrating her practice on criminal defense, DUI, and traffic-related offenses. She represents individuals facing a wide range of charges, delivering strategic advocacy grounded in careful legal analysis, courtroom preparation, and a results-driven approach throughout Illinois trial courts and related administrative proceedings.
Michelle earned a Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, following a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from Southern Illinois University and a Master’s Degree with High Honors from William Woods University. This multidisciplinary academic background supports advanced legal research, persuasive writing, and effective courtroom advocacy.
Before joining her current firm, Michelle developed substantial experience at a private criminal defense practice, where she refined motion practice and litigation strategy. Her ability to translate complex legal and evidentiary issues into clear arguments has contributed to favorable rulings at both pretrial and trial stages.
Since becoming licensed in Illinois in 2016, Michelle has defended hundreds of clients in matters ranging from traffic violations to serious felony charges. Her casework includes DUI offenses, license suspensions, drug crimes, weapons charges, violent offenses, and high-stakes felony litigation.
