During law school, she also served as a taxation research assistant, completed a judicial externship in domestic relations, and studied estate planning techniques through focused, practical legal training.

She practiced for two years as a 711 student attorney in family law and low-income taxpayer clinics, giving her direct experience with clients facing serious financial and family concerns.
