Michael T. Willis, Esq is a seasoned attorney with over 15 years of legal experience, specializing in estate planning, elder law, and medicaid planning. Admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the Federal District of New Jersey, Mr. Willis has built a reputation for delivering compassionate and results-driven legal counsel. His dedication to client service is rooted in his broad litigation experience and in-depth knowledge of the complex issues surrounding estate and elder law.

Mr. Willis earned his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 2001, following his academic studies at The Ohio State University and Seton Hall University. Early in his career, he served as a Special Deputy Attorney General in New Jersey for five years, handling insurance and health insurance fraud cases. This role honed his investigative and analytical skills, which continue to inform his approach to solving clients’ legal challenges.

As a National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys member and the New Jersey Bar Association member, Mr. Willis is actively engaged in the legal community. Over the years, he has assisted clients across 15 New Jersey counties in various legal matters, including Medicaid Crisis Planning, Medicaid Preplanning, Asset Protection, and related family issues.

Today, Mr. Willis dedicates most of his practice to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of estate and elder law. He advises clients strategically to safeguard their assets, ensure compliance with Medicaid requirements, and plan for long-term care needs. His approach combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of the sensitive nature of these issues, enabling clients to make informed decisions about their futures.
