Michael P. Vanderford

Michael P. Vanderford is a senior partner in Little Rock, Arkansas, with a defense litigation practice focused on complex civil disputes. He has more than 30 years of litigation experience and has tried cases throughout Arkansas. His practice includes construction and surety defense, personal injury litigation, product and premises liability defense, professional malpractice defense, property and casualty defense, and toxic tort defense.

Vanderford earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Leflar Law Center in 1993, where he served as Note and Comment Editor for the University of Arkansas Law Review. He also received a B.A. from the University of Arkansas in 1990. His legal education and law review experience support his careful analysis, written advocacy, and practical approach to litigation strategy.
