Michael P. Doyle is a Houston trial lawyer who represents plaintiffs in maritime personal injury, international and transnational injury claims, and insurance bad faith disputes. He represents Jones Act and foreign seamen, injured travelers, workers harmed by multinational companies, and policyholders challenging insurers. Michael earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law. He received his B.A. in History from the University of Virginia. He also completed coursework in marine insurance, international law, and maritime law at the University of London, St. Mary’s College of Law. His education supports his work involving maritime claims, international disputes, insurance coverage, trial preparation, and complex questions affecting injured clients across jurisdictions and regulatory issues.
Michael has obtained multimillion-dollar verdicts in maritime injury and insurance bad faith cases, including claims involving injured seamen, offshore workers, helicopter passengers, and marine personnel. He has represented workers’ compensation claimants whose benefits were delayed or denied and policyholders in domestic and transnational coverage disputes. He has also handled Jones Act claims and international injury matters, using extensive courtroom experience to prepare complex cases for trial and resolution when necessary.
Michael P. Doyle has been recognized by Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, and Martindale-Hubbell, including an AV Preeminent rating.
