About
Michael J. Sabbeth is the founder of Sabbeth Law and represents injured clients in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases throughout Vermont and New Hampshire. His practice includes serious motor vehicle crashes, trucking cases, motorcycle injuries, workplace injuries, and other negligence matters. Licensed in both states, he handles cases that cross jurisdictional lines and focuses on trial preparation, insurance disputes, and obtaining compensation for people facing serious physical and financial harm.
Mike earned a B.A., magna cum laude, from Brooklyn College, with honors in Political Science. He later attended Vermont Law School, where he served as Chair of the Trial Advocacy Moot Court Team. He is also a graduate of the Trial Lawyers College. His education and trial-focused training support a practice built around courtroom preparation, evidence development, persuasive advocacy, and the practical demands of representing injured clients in contested insurance and liability matters.
Mike has handled significant personal injury and workers’ compensation matters, including trucking and motorcycle crash cases. His firm reports major recoveries involving an $18 million tractor-trailer crash matter, a $2.4 million workers’ compensation matter, and a $1.1 million motorcycle crash matter. He has emphasized trial preparation and has used focus groups, medical illustration, and other litigation tools when preparing serious cases for negotiation, voir dire, and trial.
Michael J. Sabbeth has received an AV Preeminent peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell and recognition from Super Lawyers of New England. He served as President of the Vermont Association for Justice for the 2022-23 term and participates in trial-lawyer organizations focused on trucking and injury litigation. His practice combines cross-border licensing, trial training, professional leadership, and direct representation of clients in high-value injury and workers’ compensation disputes.
