Michael J. Conway

Michael J. Conway, Attorney at Law, LLC, is a respected Waukegan attorney with over 25 years of experience representing clients in criminal defense and family law. Michael earned his Associate of Science degree from the College of Lake County in 1986, his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois in 1988, and his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1991. Admitted to the Illinois Bar and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1992, he later achieved admission to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2013.

Before establishing his own firm, Michael served as a Senior Assistant Public Defender in Lake County from 1992 to 1999, where he gained extensive courtroom experience defending clients in serious criminal matters. His firm now focuses on criminal defense, DUI cases, juvenile delinquency, abuse and neglect matters, and family law, providing strong advocacy and personal attention in every case.

Beyond his legal practice, Michael has served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the College of Lake County since 1999, teaching courses in criminal justice, criminology, and juvenile delinquency.
