Michael J. Allan is an intellectual property lawyer who represents rights holders and companies in complex disputes involving copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, digital piracy, counterfeiting, product copying, unauthorized resellers, false advertising, and competitive misappropriation. Working from Washington, D.C., and New York, he serves as lead counsel in federal trial and appellate courts across the country. Michael earned his J.D., cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law in 1998. While in law school, he participated in the Syracuse Law Review and Syracuse Moot Court Board. He received his B.A. from Hamilton College in 1995. He also represents plaintiffs and defendants in trade secret matters involving employee departures, confidential information, technical materials, and proprietary data.
