Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2015. During law school, he participated in the National Trial Court Competition Team, was a Chase Fellow, and contributed to the Student Advocacy Society. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky, where he served in multiple student leadership roles.
After graduation, Michael began his legal career as a public defender with the Department of Public Advocacy. He supervised nine attorneys and oversaw criminal defense cases across five counties. His time with the agency gave him deep trial experience and a strong foundation in criminal law, preparing him to defend clients with determination and precision.
Michael Durborow later transitioned into civil litigation, focusing on catastrophic injury cases. He handled nationwide litigation in state and federal courts, adding another dimension to his legal expertise. This dual background enhances his ability to serve clients facing both criminal charges and complex injury claims.
