Michael A. Jacks

Michael A. Jacks founded Jacks Legal Group, P.L.L.C., in Morgantown, West Virginia. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation and handles disputes that may require trial court proceedings or appellate review. His work includes litigation involving environmental hazards, complex claims, and legal remedies. He is admitted to practice in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, allowing him to assist clients with disputes across state lines and in several federal jurisdictions.

Jacks graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia University in 2005. He earned his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 2009, where he participated in Moot Court and ranked in the top 15 percent of his class. His legal education emphasized research, argument, and courtroom preparation. He began his career as a judicial law clerk for Judge Thomas A. Bedell of the Circuit Court in Harrison County, West Virginia.
