Michael A. Gottlieb is a distinguished criminal defense attorney with over 30 years of experience. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and is also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and multiple U.S. District Courts. His practice spans both state and federal cases, earning him a strong reputation for excellence in legal defense.

Mr. Gottlieb earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in 1993. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University in 1990.

He began his legal journey in the Broward Sheriff’s Office, gaining practical experience in the legal department. He then served as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County, where he developed his skills in courtroom advocacy. Since founding Michael A. Gottlieb, P.A., he has dedicated himself to defending clients with a focus on achieving justice.

Over his career, Mr. Gottlieb has handled thousands of cases and successfully tried more than 150 jury trials. He has secured acquittals in cases such as First-Degree Murder, Attempted Murder of a Law Enforcement Officer, DUI Manslaughter, and Firearm Possession by a Convicted Felon. Additionally, he has achieved case dismissals through pre-trial motions for charges like Trafficking in Oxycodone and Perjury.

Mr. Gottlieb is recognized for his attention to detail, strategic approach, and commitment to protecting his clients’ rights.
