Melissa Bazan

Melissa Bazan is a dedicated family law attorney at Gregory Law PLLC in Houston, Texas. Since joining the firm in 2009, she has focused her practice on helping families navigate the challenges of divorce, custody, child support, and related legal matters. Ms. Bazan earned her J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2009. She holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Classical Civilizations from the University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2006.

While in law school, Ms. Bazan gained practical experience as a student attorney in the Wills and Probate Clinic. She also broadened her perspective on global legal issues through the Loyola Law School study abroad program at the United Nations University for Peace in Costa Rica, where she studied international human rights and environmental law.

Since being admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2009, Ms. Bazan has handled a wide range of family law matters. Her role often includes appointments as an amicus attorney, where she advocates for the best interests of children in Harris County court cases. She also argued a civil case before the Second Court of Appeals in 2012—an achievement that underscores her advocacy skills and courtroom confidence.
