Megan brings a distinctive background to her legal practice, shaped by prior experience in investigations, law enforcement, and public service. Before entering private practice, she worked as a Child Protective Specialist with the State of Florida and later served as a Police Officer with the Valdosta Police Department in Georgia, developing strong investigative and analytical skills.

Megan’s legal career began during her legal education, when she gained hands-on experience as a law clerk at Harman Law, PLLC, and as a legal intern at Legal Aid of North Carolina. These roles exposed her to client advocacy, case preparation, and practical problem-solving across a range of legal matters affecting individuals and families.

Following law school, Megan practiced as an Associate Closing Attorney with Costner Law Office, PLLC, where she managed residential real estate closings, title review, lender coordination, and transactional documentation. This experience strengthened her ability to handle complex real estate matters efficiently, accurately, and with attention to detail.

Since joining Thomas & Webber in 2023, Megan has continued to expand her real estate practice while also assisting clients with estate planning matters. Her approach, informed by her diverse professional background, enables her to anticipate issues, communicate clearly, and guide clients through important legal decisions with confidence and care.
