Matthew W. Bish is a partner at Foulston Siefkin LLP in Wichita, Kansas. His practice focuses on estate planning and probate, elder law, taxation, and the administration of trusts and estates. Bish works with individuals and families to prepare wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, generation-skipping trusts, powers of attorney, premarital agreements, advance directives, and limited liability companies. He also develops strategies involving asset protection and estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
Bish earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Washburn University in 2009, where he served on the Washburn Law Journal and was a Dawson Scholar. He previously earned his B.A. in Business Administration magna cum laude from Washburn University in 2006. His legal and business education supports a planning practice that requires careful analysis of tax rules, ownership structures, family objectives, and the long-term administration and transfer of assets.
