Matthew earned a J.D. and an M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University in 2020 through a dual-degree program. He also holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Illinois State University, earned in 2016. During law school, he studied abroad in Agen, France.
Matthew began his legal career as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Kane and Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Offices. He prosecuted a wide range of cases, including traffic, misdemeanor, domestic violence, DUI, and felony matters, and gained experience in hearings, extradition matters, and charge review.
Matthew has tried over fifteen jury trials and hundreds of bench trials and contested hearings. He also works on family law matters, including divorce, parentage, and post-decree issues. His experience allows him to guide clients through both criminal and family law challenges with practical insight.
