Matthew Myers is a San Antonio immigration lawyer at Myers Immigration Law who focuses on employment, investor, and global mobility matters. He advises individuals, entrepreneurs, investors, startups, and major companies on inbound US and outbound international immigration needs. He brings more than a decade of experience to complex visa strategies and cross-border matters for business and professional clients. He is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Matthew earned his J.D. from Baylor Law School, where he was a Public Interest Fellow and the first graduate of its Leadership Development program. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Spanish, magna cum laude, from Austin College. Before entering practice, he completed immigration-related internships with Catholic Charities of Dallas, USCIS Office of Chief Counsel, and Chief US District Judge Orlando L. Garcia in the Western District of Texas.
Matthew previously spent much of a decade with a large international immigration law firm, handling high-volume US and global immigration matters. He worked with individuals, entrepreneurs, investors, startups, Fortune 100 companies, and high-net-worth clients. His practice includes employment and investor immigration, employer compliance, and strategic mobility planning. He draws on both private-practice and government-related experience when helping clients navigate complex immigration procedures and business objectives across varied industries and jurisdictions.
Matthew Myers has held leadership roles in immigration law organizations, including chairing the State Bar of Texas Immigration and Nationality Law Section in 2020. He later joined the State Bar committee addressing immigration and nationality laws and currently serves as vice chair. He also serves as an AILA liaison to US Customs and Border Protection in Laredo. His work has earned recognition from several legal publications and organizations in immigration.
