Matthew M. Hibbs

Matthew M. Hibbs is a Partner in the Bozeman office of Crowley Fleck Attorneys PLLP and a member of the Tort and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. He represents clients in many kinds of disputes, including tort, personal injury, commercial, construction, and real property matters. His work includes enforcing contracts, resolving tenant disputes, handling creditors’ rights & bankruptcy law matters, and handling construction defect claims. He also advises clients on complex legal problems with a steady, practical approach. Clients value his clear communication, strong preparation, and focus on efficient, results-driven solutions.

Matthew earned his J.D. with Honors from the University of Montana School of Law in 2009. He also received a B.A. with High Honors in 2005 from the University of Montana, where he was a Distinguished Scholar in the Honors Program at Davidson Honors College. His academic record reflects strong discipline and legal skill. This foundation helped prepare him for a demanding litigation practice and gave him the research, writing, and analysis tools needed to guide clients through difficult legal disputes.

Matthew has a distinguished legal career, including extensive experience in civil litigation and service to the legal community. He served as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Mike Salvagni, gaining valuable insight into court practice and judicial decision-making. He has also served as an Officer and Treasurer of the Gallatin County Bar Association. In addition, he is a member of the State Bar of Montana, the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association, reflecting his active role in the profession statewide.
