Matt Munson

Matt Munson is an attorney at M.A. Munson Law in Cedar City, Utah. He represents individuals, families, and businesses in criminal defense, bankruptcy, personal injury, estate planning, and corporate law matters. Munson earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Utah and later received his J.D. from the university’s S.J. Quinney College of Law. During law school, he represented the law school in the ASUU Senate, served as president of the Federalist Society, and completed an internship with the Utah State Senate. He also worked as a law clerk in the Tax and Revenue and Education and Health divisions of the Utah Attorney General’s Office.

Munson’s experience covers criminal defense, debt relief, personal injury claims, business matters, and estate planning. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Utah and the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. His background enables him to assist clients with matters related to court proceedings, financial pressures, business decisions, asset protection, and long-term planning. Matt Munson is a member of the American Bar Association, the Utah Bar, and the Southern Utah Bar Association. He is also involved with Wills for Heroes and helped establish and support the Southern Utah Sports Academy, a nonprofit organization.
