Matt Kitzi

Matt Kitzi is an attorney who advises clients on securities regulation, compliance, enforcement, capital raising, business planning, financial services, and government affairs. During law school, he served as Literary Editor of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law Review. Matt previously served as Missouri Commissioner of Securities, where he directed regulation and licensure for broker-dealers and investment advisers. He issued administrative orders, led investor protection efforts, and helped secure major restitution for harmed investors. He also guided compliance and audit programs during the financial crisis. This experience helps him assist clients with enforcement actions, registrations, waivers, exemptions, disclosure duties, and sensitive regulatory matters before agencies, regulators, and industry bodies.
