Matt earned his B.A. (Business and Finance) from Franklin College in 2002. He later earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University, Pettit College of Law in 2006. Matt passed the bar in both Indiana and Texas in the same year, then chose to build his career close to Johnson County, Indiana. For more than eight years, he practiced with one of the largest law firms in the county, focusing on bankruptcy, consumer rights, foreclosure defense, and litigation.

Matt began independent practice in 2015, continuing his work with people facing some of the most stressful financial issues of their lives. He helps clients understand their choices, prepare for legal steps, and move through difficult matters with a more organized plan, steady support, and a clearer sense of direction.
