Mark A. Chinn

Mark A. Chinn is the founding attorney of Chinn & Associates, a family law firm in Jackson, Mississippi. With more than 45 years of experience, he has built a reputation for handling complex divorce and family law cases with skill and dedication. Mark is committed to guiding clients through challenging legal matters, helping them make informed decisions, and empowering them to move forward with confidence. His firm provides legal services in divorce, modification, contempt, guardianship, youth court matters, and child support cases.

Mark earned his B.A. in Political Science from Iowa State University in 1975. He then obtained his J.D. from the University of Mississippi Law Center in 1978. His legal education laid the foundation for a distinguished career focused on family law, law practice management, and client advocacy.

Throughout his career, Mark A. Chinn has helped families navigate the legal complexities of divorce and family disputes. Early in his practice, he worked in multiple areas of law before focusing on family law, where his skills and dedication could make the greatest impact. He has represented clients in high-conflict divorces and worked to resolve cases efficiently while protecting their rights and interests. Mark is licensed to practice in all Mississippi courts, the Fifth and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
