Margaret Langdon brings a deep litigation background shaped by roles in prosecution, trial work, and complex tort advocacy. Her experience includes managing challenging caseloads, guiding enforcement matters, and developing courtroom skills that support clients facing significant legal problems. She has built a reputation for thorough preparation and unwavering professionalism.
Margaret completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Michigan State University in December 2014, where she was active in Pi Beta Phi and helped found the Association for Women in Sports Media. She later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in May 2019. During law school, she received the CALI Award in Advanced Litigation, served as the founding president of the MATA Student Chapter, participated in the Federal Bar Association, competed on KU’s mock trial team, and clerked for the Missouri Court of Appeals.
Margaret gained early courtroom experience through an internship with the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled a docket of misdemeanor cases and second-chaired a felony trial. She later advanced to the Cass County Prosecutor’s Office, directing Child Support Enforcement and overseeing Treatment Court programs. Her responsibilities also included first-chairing a felony trial, strengthening her ability to handle demanding litigation.
Margaret was recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the top civil litigators under 40 for plaintiffs in 2025, acknowledging her growing impact in litigation. She participates actively in professional circles, including the Cass County Bar Association, the Society of Women Trial Lawyers, the Association of Women Lawyers, the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Attorneys Information Exchange Group. She also contributes to community service through her work with House of Hope.
