Marcos Bendaña is an associate attorney with Fujiwara & Rosenbaum, LLLC, focusing his practice on employment law, discrimination, civil rights, whistleblower retaliation, and wrongful termination. Since joining the firm in 2019, he has built a strong reputation for advocating on behalf of individuals whose rights have been violated in the workplace. Marcos earned his J.D. from the University of Hawai‘i, William S. Richardson School of Law, where he was an Ulu Lehua Scholar and served as a student representative for the Admissions Committee. He also earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. His legal education gave him the tools to pursue a career centered on civil rights, preparing him to litigate cases that address systemic workplace inequities.
During his law school years, Marcos externed with Fujiwara & Rosenbaum, LLLC in 2017–2018, an experience that reinforced his passion for plaintiff-side advocacy. Before entering law, he worked for a decade as a construction engineer and manager in California and Hawai‘i. Following that career, he served as a youth program coordinator and community organizer at Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services, where he worked directly with underserved families. These experiences strengthened his perspective as both an advocate and problem solver.
Marcos Bendaña is admitted to practice law in Hawai‘i and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawai‘i. At the firm, he continues to represent clients facing wrongful treatment in employment and civil rights matters. His career reflects a dedication to advancing fairness and accountability, ensuring his clients’ voices are heard in both state and federal courts.
