Marc N. Epstein

Marc N. Epstein is a seasoned real estate attorney with more than three decades of experience guiding owners, developers, landlords, tenants, and investors through complex business and property transactions. He manages high-value projects involving acquisitions, development, financing, leasing, and large-scale construction matters across diverse commercial sectors worldwide.

Marc earned his B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1981 before pursuing his legal studies. He later received his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law, cum laude, 1984. He is admitted to practice in Texas. His academic foundation supports his practical, business-focused approach to sophisticated real estate transactions.

Marc structures and negotiates agreements for real estate acquisition, development, and ongoing operations. He has handled matters involving funds, joint ventures, partnerships, limited liability companies, and real estate investment trusts (REITs). His work includes forming private equity funds and advising clients on investment vehicles built for large-scale property portfolios.

Marc has negotiated more than a billion dollars’ worth of design, engineering, and construction contracts. He also advises on sales, acquisitions, financing, management, and leasing for commercial properties. His experience spans hotels, retail centers, office buildings, assisted living facilities, industrial sites, transportation projects, museums, entertainment venues, and major infrastructure developments.

Marc has extensive experience with data center and co-location facility projects. He counsels clients on design, engineering, construction, financing, and leasing requirements unique to these facilities. His representative matters include multimillion-dollar data center acquisitions and dispositions, senior living and storage facility developments, and complex build-to-suit projects with related financing and lease negotiations.
