Lori J. Costanzo

Lori J. Costanzo is a founding partner, civil litigator, mediator, and advocate at Costanzo Law Firm, APC, with more than 35 years of experience representing clients throughout Northern California. She handles employment discrimination, wrongful termination, labor and employment disputes, professional malpractice, personal injury, business litigation, contract disputes, and other complex civil rights law. She has practiced in state and federal courts since 1989 and brings extensive trial, arbitration, negotiation, and mediation experience to difficult cases statewide.

Lori earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. She previously practiced with several Bay Area law firms before establishing her own practice. Her background includes decades of civil litigation in California courts, where she has handled jury trials, bench trials, arbitration proceedings, and mediated disputes involving employment, business, injury, and professional liability.

Lori also serves as a mediator and neutral, drawing on extensive litigation and negotiation experience to help parties evaluate risk and pursue practical resolutions. She has served as a Judge Pro Tem in Santa Clara County and currently serves as a Mediator and Early Neutral Evaluator on the Santa Clara County Superior Court panel. She maintains a private mediation practice focused on resolving disputes efficiently, respectfully, and with meaningful closure.

Lori J. Costanzo has held leadership and service roles within the legal community. She has served on Santa Clara County Bar Association committees and its Board of Trustees and sits on the Silicon Valley Pro Bono Project board. She has also taught at Santa Clara University School of Law and served on the County Equal Access to Employment Commission. Her career reflects sustained litigation experience, mediation leadership, and community service.
