Lora Matthews Fausett

Lora Matthews Fausett is a Founding Member and Attorney at Fausett Law. She concentrates her practice on transactional real estate, estate planning, business law, and probate. She also has experience with administrative appeals and helps clients address legal matters with practical planning, clear communication, and client-centered service.

Lora earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. She also earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Iowa. Her education supports her work in real estate transactions, estate planning, business matters, probate, and administrative appeals for clients and families.

Lora is admitted to practice in Illinois, Texas, and Iowa. Her professional memberships include the Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, National Association of Professional Women, Women’s Council of Realtors, Main Street Organization of Realtors, and the Board of Directors of the DuPage Homeownership Center.

Lora represents purchasers and sellers in commercial and residential real estate matters. She works efficiently while keeping customer service in focus. She has also helped Illinois residents reach binding agreements with major lenders, enabling families to stay in their homes or relocate to and from the Chicagoland area.

Lora’s estate planning practice focuses on documents that help preserve client wealth and assets while protecting beneficiaries and heirs. Her business law work supports corporations and small businesses in complex transactions and disputes. She also handles probate matters and administrative appeals involving SSI and SSDI programs.

Lora Matthews Fausett has served as Chairwoman of H.O.M.E. DuPage, Inc. since May 2015. She also served as Vice Chairperson of the DuPage County Bar Association Real Estate Practice Committee from 2011 to 2013 and as Chairperson from 2013 to 2014, reflecting her continued work in real estate law.
