Lisa C. Goldman

Lisa C. Goldman is a highly accomplished attorney with extensive experience in criminal defense, civil litigation, appeals, and election law. She has a strong record of success in both trial and appellate courts, having secured favorable outcomes in complex legal matters, including felony and misdemeanor defense, ERISA litigation, and high-stakes election recounts.

Lisa earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997, where she was a semi-finalist in the Heffernan Oral Advocacy Competition and a quarter-finalist in the National Products Liability Moot Court Competition. Before law school, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also gained valuable international experience working with the United Nations and as a journalist in East Jerusalem.

Lisa is an experienced trial attorney who has defended clients against serious criminal charges and complex traffic offenses across Wisconsin. She has won civil jury verdicts of more than $400,000 and negotiated personal injury settlements in the seven-figure range. In election law, Lisa helped overturn a Wisconsin election result and successfully argued to extend polling hours in a pivotal case for the Democratic Party.
