About
Lindsey M. Huddle is a Burlington attorney whose practice focuses on family law, estate planning, and probate matters. She handles divorce, parentage, civil union dissolution, child support, parental rights and responsibilities, parent-child contact, adoption, guardianship, probate of wills, and related proceedings. Her practice includes negotiated matters, contested litigation, and collaborative law, allowing her to assist clients with different paths toward resolving sensitive family and estate issues.
Lindsey earned her B.A. in religion and political science from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and her J.D. from Vermont Law School in 1979. She has spent her legal career in private practice and has worked across family law, civil and criminal litigation, bankruptcy, real estate, probate, and estate planning. Lindsey has extensive experience with contested and negotiated family cases, including matters involving business and property valuation and division. She represents children and parents in child abuse and neglect proceedings and serves as a Guardian ad Litem for children of divorce. Her probate work includes representation involving adopting parents, guardians, wards, wills, estates, trusts, and planning intended to address family and financial needs.
Lindsey M. Huddle has supported Vermont family court practice through committee work, teaching, and continuing legal education. She serves as an acting Magistrate for child support hearings when called upon and teaches a pro se education class in Family Court. Her long experience with family and probate proceedings helps clients understand their options, prepare for important decisions, and pursue workable legal arrangements during difficult transitions.
