About
Lindsey Grunert is a partner at Kotchen & Low in Washington, DC, whose main practice area is class action employment discrimination litigation. Lindsey represents plaintiffs in employment disputes involving allegations of workplace discrimination and related claims. Her litigation experience also includes earlier work in personal injury and medical malpractice, giving her a background in case management, factual development, discovery, client advocacy, and the preparation of contested matters for negotiation or trial.
Lindsey earned a J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Boston College, where she studied English and Psychology. In law school, she received the Pro Bono Excellence award after completing more than 100 hours of service for a local nonprofit organization. She also worked as a research assistant for a criminal procedure professor and as a legal intern for American Public Television.
Before joining Kotchen & Low, Lindsey practiced at a Boston law firm handling personal injury and medical malpractice matters. In that role, she assisted with litigation and case management and advocated for injured plaintiffs. Her current practice applies that litigation foundation to class action employment discrimination cases, where legal teams must analyze employment records, workplace practices, damages, and evidence affecting groups of employees while managing complex procedural and discovery issues.
Lindsey Grunert is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York, and the District of Columbia. Lindsey combines academic honors, pro bono service, and plaintiff-side litigation experience in her employment practice. She helps clients pursue workplace claims through careful factual investigation, organized case preparation, and litigation strategy designed for matters that may involve significant records, multiple affected employees, and complex questions of employment law.
