Lewis H. Warr

Lewis H. Warr is a partner at Young & Warr, LLC in Sumter, South Carolina. His practice is limited to civil litigation and criminal defense. He represents injured clients in matters involving automobile, trucking, and motorcycle accidents, slip and fall incidents, dangerous products, nursing home and daycare abuse or neglect, medical malpractice, and civil rights claims. He represents people accused of crimes and works across South Carolina courts on contested matters.

Warr earned a J.D. from the University of South Carolina and a B.S. in Business Administration from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. During law school, he served as a prosecution law clerk for the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office. He received several CALI Awards for Outstanding Achievement, including recognition as Best Plaintiff’s Advocate in Trial Advocacy. His academic and courtroom training supports his work in civil litigation and criminal defense.

Warr joined the firm as a partner in 2020 after working there as a law clerk during multiple summers. He is admitted in South Carolina and North Carolina and before the US District Court for the District of South Carolina. His memberships include the South Carolina Association for Justice, South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, American Association for Justice, South Carolina Bar Association, and Sumter County Bar Association.
