Lena Younts Meredith

Lena Younts Meredith is a partner and Managing Attorney at Nicholson Meredith & Anderson, LLC, where she focuses on estate planning, estate administration, probate litigation, personal injury, workers’ compensation, premises liability, and civil tort litigation. With nearly three decades of legal experience, she represents individuals and families throughout South Carolina, providing practical legal guidance in both litigation and estate planning matters. Her broad practice enables her to assist clients with protecting their assets, resolving disputes, and navigating complex legal issues with confidence.

Lena graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, having attended on a full academic scholarship. During her undergraduate studies, she completed a study abroad program at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England, earning a Diploma in English Literature. She later received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1995. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1995, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina in 1996, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in 2017. She is also a Certified Circuit Court Mediator, Certified Arbitrator, and South Carolina Guardian ad Litem.

Lena practiced with the law firms of Miles and Younts in Sumter and Coffey, Chandler and Meredith in Manning, South Carolina, before joining Nicholson Meredith & Anderson in 2005. She became a partner at the firm in 2012. She is an active member of the Greenwood County Bar Association, South Carolina Association for Justice, and the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Education Association, where she has served on the Educational Conference Planning Committee.
