Leah Martin

Leah Martin is the founder and managing attorney of Leah Martin Law, a firm focused on business and commercial law in Las Vegas and throughout Nevada and Arizona. With decades of experience, she advises business owners on formation, contracts, litigation, and compliance, providing clear, practical legal support for entrepreneurs and companies alike.

Leah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Political Science. Leah earned her J.D. from UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law in 2002, serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Nevada Law Journal and receiving the Outstanding Graduate Award.

Leah launched her legal career at Lionel Sawyer & Collins, then Nevada’s largest law firm, where she built a strong foundation in litigation. She later joined Bailey Kennedy, expanding her experience in complex business law and high-stakes commercial disputes. In 2011, she founded her own law firm to provide clients with personalized, results-driven representation backed by years of elite mentorship, trial experience, and hands-on advocacy.

Leah’s areas of practice include business formation, contract drafting and review, shareholder disputes, business dissolutions, and appellate work. She has represented clients in commercial litigation and arbitration, providing trusted guidance through every phase of business operation and conflict resolution.

Leah Martin is licensed to practice in Nevada and Arizona, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is active in numerous legal and civic organizations, including the Clark County Bar Association and the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys. She also contributes to legal education as a bar exam grader and former civil practice teaching assistant.
