Lauren G. Blau is a passionate and results-driven attorney specializing in matrimonial and family law. Lauren earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, where she completed a specialized program in Family Law and Social Policy. During law school, she served as a Student Attorney in the Children’s Rights and Family Law Clinic, representing clients in various Family Court matters. She also worked in the Elder Law Clinic, gaining valuable experience in estate planning, which she now integrates into her practice when advising clients post-divorce. Her judicial internship with the Honorable Kathie E. Davidson in the Family Courts of the 9th Judicial District gave her critical insight into judicial decision-making in family law cases.

Lauren began her career advocating for victims of domestic violence, assisting clients in obtaining Orders of Protection through the Pace Women’s Justice Center Family Court Legal Program. Prior to joining Chemtob Moss Forman & Beyda, she worked at a boutique matrimonial law firm in Manhattan that focused on high-net-worth divorces. Her extensive experience handling complex cases has equipped her with the skills to navigate sensitive family law matters effectively.
