Laura Weintraub Beck is the Firm-wide Chairman and Managing Director of Cummings & Lockwood LLC and is based in the Greenwich office. She focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Her work includes business succession planning, real estate planning, wealth protection strategies, and fiduciary matters. She advises high-net-worth individuals, business owners, executives, and families seeking structured long-term estate solutions.

Laura earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School. She also holds an M.P.P. from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a B.A. from Trinity College. Her academic training in law and public policy supports her ability to analyze tax structures, fiduciary duties, and estate regulations. She was admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York shortly after completing her legal education.

Before law school, Laura worked for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee, drafting reports and legislation related to crime and drug policy. Within her firm, she previously served as Chairman of the Private Clients Group and led attorney training initiatives. She has co-authored several authoritative publications on wills, trusts, probate, and asset protection, contributing to leading legal reference materials in Connecticut.
