About
Laura Purslow brings a unique combination of legal knowledge, public service experience, and practical problem-solving skills to a broad range of legal matters. Her practice includes QDROs, family law, landlord/tenant issues, criminal law, and civil litigation. Before entering the legal profession, she spent more than two decades serving communities throughout New Hampshire as a Police Officer, Detective, and Police Prosecutor. That extensive background provides valuable insight into legal disputes and helps her approach each case with a balanced understanding of both the legal and personal issues involved.
Laura earned her Juris Doctor from Massachusetts School of Law in Andover and became a licensed attorney in Massachusetts in June 2024. She was subsequently admitted to practice in New Hampshire in September 2024. Her transition from law enforcement to legal practice reflects a continued commitment to helping individuals resolve complex issues through knowledge, preparation, and advocacy.
Laura began her career in public service shortly after graduating from Saint Anselm College in 2001. Throughout her years in law enforcement, she built a reputation for treating people with respect, communicating effectively, and recognizing the importance of each person’s circumstances. Her experience working directly with individuals and families facing difficult situations continues to shape her approach to legal representation today.
Laura decided to pursue a legal career while serving as the Police Prosecutor for the Town of Weare. Managing the demands of being a single mother, a full-time police prosecutor, and a full-time law student required exceptional dedication, discipline, and perseverance. That experience strengthened her appreciation for organization, time management, and commitment to long-term goals, qualities that continue to benefit clients navigating challenging legal matters.
Laura Purslow applies the same integrity, empathy, and determination that defined her public service career to every legal matter she handles. Drawing on years of investigative, prosecutorial, and legal experience, she works diligently to address client concerns and pursue practical solutions. Her diverse background, strong communication skills, and understanding of complex legal issues make her a trusted advocate for individuals facing a wide variety of legal challenges throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
