Lara Herrmann

Lara Herrmann is the Owner and CEO of Herrmann Law Group and a nationally recognized trial lawyer with over 20 years of experience. She focuses her practice on aviation disasters, wrongful death, personal injury, and civil rights litigation. Known for her compassionate advocacy and aggressive representation, she has secured millions of dollars for clients worldwide.

Ms. Herrmann earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2000 and holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University. Licensed in Washington, she has handled high-profile litigation stemming from catastrophic events, including the Boeing 737 Max 8 crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia, and the Asiana Airlines Flight 214 crash in San Francisco.

Ms. Herrmann has also represented victims of train derailments, bus rollovers, and police misconduct. Notably, she secured over $9 million for victims in the “Ride the Ducks” crash in Seattle, one of the top 50 U.S. settlements that year. Lara Herrmann frequently collaborates with prominent attorneys, including Ben Crump, in civil rights and police use-of-force cases.

In addition to her litigation success, Ms. Herrmann is a strong presence in legal education and advocacy. She created the Seattle University School of Law Woman of the Year Award and has taught trial skills through LSU’s Trial Advocacy Program. Her honors include recognition as a Super Lawyer, one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and a Top 10 Aviation Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers.
