Kyle P. Beatty is an associate attorney at Herzfeld, Suetholz, Gastel, Leniski and Wall, PLLC. He represents labor unions in a broad range of labor relations matters. His practice focuses on labor and employment law, including collective bargaining and arbitration. Before entering private practice, he worked directly within the labor movement and gained experience handling matters involving public and private-sector unions.
Mr. Beatty earned his B.A. in Human Rights Studies from the University of Dayton. He later received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law. His academic background in human rights helped shape his interest in representing working people and labor organizations. He is licensed to practice in Ohio and Kentucky and before the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Mr. Beatty began his labor career as a Staff Representative for Ohio Council 8, AFSCME, AFL-CIO. In that role, he negotiated collective bargaining agreements and led arbitration matters. He later served as Assistant General Counsel for Ohio Council 8. His work included matters before the Ohio State Employment Relations Board and the National Labor Relations Board. He has represented unions across sectors including higher education and healthcare.
Kyle P. Beatty is active in several professional organizations connected to labor and legal practice. His affiliations include the AFL-CIO Union Lawyers Alliance, Ohio Public Employees Lawyers Association, Ohio Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Cincinnati Bar Association. He continues to represent unions in labor relations, employment matters, collective bargaining, and related proceedings while drawing on his earlier experience working within organized labor.
